The SSIUH has 03 emergency ambulances – which provide care to patients with an acute illness or injury . Ambulances are available at the center in case of emergency relief and evacuation. The ambulances are equipped with high quality equipments to give maximum relief to the patient. The ambulances are imported from Japan and Korea. It is to mention that the cost of the ambulance per kilo meter is kept very low as mentioned earlier that the people living in the province area needs our attention.
Maternal mortality is the leading cause of woman death and Cambodia lead the other countries in the South East Asia region. Special aseptic delivery arrangements are done to contribute the ministry of health efforts to lower the rates. Completed or obstructed labor cases are referred to SSIUH where national and international consultants are present to handle the situation.
